IN the heart of Manhattan, in the Times Square of Broadway, flashing letters paraded untiringly announcing the great
event of V-Day,
day of victory against violence against women, in Madison Square Garden,
the enormous structure like a stadium that holds a public of 20.000 people. |

Delirium.
This night the Madison was packed and the whole night was energy, vibes and plenty
of emotion. The master of ceremony, Eve Ensler - author of the stage
play "Monologues of the
vagina" called all the stars of both cinema such as Glenn Close and Jane Fonda, and of show biz
(Queen Latifah), TV (Oprah, Claire Danes) etc. etc. to interprete extracts of the text of the play, that
since 1998 has constituted an artístic and politic tool to stir up with radical power and unite audiences and artists around
the tragic theme of
sexist violence.
